Ferran Albrich is one of the most prominent Catalan baritones of today. His solid musical training —not only as a singer but also as a cellist— enables him to approach a wide and varied repertoire, characterized by stylistic versatility, interpretative rigor, and a particular sensitivity in phrasing.

His repertoire spans works from all styles and periods, from the Baroque to contemporary music. He has performed with prestigious Baroque ensembles in Spain, such as La Ritirata and Vespres d’Arnadí, as well as in Italy with Cremona Antiqua and in Austria with Próxima D. His professional engagements, both past and forthcoming, have led him to collaborate with orchestras such as the Spanish Radio and Television Orchestra, the Galicia Symphony Orchestra, the Asturias Symphony Orchestra, the Valencia Symphony Orchestra, and the National Orchestra of Catalonia, among others.

He has given recitals and taken part in productions at leading venues in Spain, including the Palau de la Música and L’Auditori in Barcelona, Teatro Monumental in Madrid, Teatro Real in Madrid, Baluarte in Pamplona, the Opera House of A Coruña, and Teatro Arriaga in Bilbao. Internationally, he has appeared on renowned stages such as the Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona, the Teatro Grande in Brescia, and the Theater an der Wien in Vienna.

He has worked under the direction of conductors such as Daniel Espasa, Jordi Savall, Andrés Salado, Christoph König, Carlos Mena, Salvador Mas, and Antonio Greco, among others. He also collaborates with distinguished pianists in numerous recitals, including Victoria Guerrero, Rubén Fernández Aguirre, Alexander Schmalz, and Francisco Poyato.

Ferran Albrich’s career has been recognized with several awards, including the Permanent Competition of Juventudes Musicales de España, the Cavalli-Monteverdi Competition in Cremona, and most recently, the Critics’ Prize for Best Recital awarded by the Gran Teatre del Liceu and the Friends of the Liceu Association during the 2024/25 season.

His discography ranges from previously unpublished oratorios by Carles Baguer with Vespres d’Arnadí (2026), to Monteverdi’s Il Vespro della Beata Vergine with Cremona Antiqua (2025), as well as albums devoted to polyphony with the Ensemble Cristóbal de Morales (2023 and 2025), and his first album dedicated to art song, “Record d’un Poeta,” released in April 2026.
